Copywriting + Content for Local Business Owners
According to the Small Business Association, 80% of customers start their search online, but over 60% of small businesses still don’t have a website. That’s an alarming number of sales local businesses are losing to big businesses regardless of whether the consumer purchases online or in-store.
Your ideal customers are looking for you. They’re searching online and browsing social media feeds on a hunt for a business just like yours. When they land on your website, what’s going to convince them that you’re the one for them? Words.

A good website won't make you successful, but it is an essential ingredient.
"Asking what makes someone successful is like asking which ingredient makes a recipe taste good. It’s not any single ingredient. It is the combination of many ingredients in the right proportions and in the right order—and the absence of anything that would ruin the mixture." - James Clear

“Before hiring a copywriter, I was concerned that there was no possible way she could write something that sounded like I wrote it. I’m not sure how she did it, but with minimal input on my end, I now have a whole heap of content that I feel 100% confident in.”

Local Type Specializations
I can't lie. I have a soft spot for small business owners, creatives and entrepreneurs who...
Sell Books.
Independent bookstores are gateways to other worlds, new perspectives, and fresh ideas. I mean, come on. You gotta love the smell of stacks on stacks of books on a Saturday morning.
Make Coffee.
Baristas and coffee shop owners have been keeping me going since I could drive. Also, I've been on both sides of the coffee bar as a consumer and a barista. I owe it to you, coffee connoisseurs.
Design Homes.
Located in the furniture capital of the world, writing about furniture and interior design comes naturally. If you know what an English roll arm is or what it means for a sofa to be 8-way hand-tied, then I'm talking to you.
Passionate about crafting leather goods or hosting a farmer’s market? What you do is important! I’d write words to reach your ideal customers any day.
